When Wendy eventually retired, Harshid Desai took over the store - officially procuring it in 2022 - ensuring that it remained independently owned.

Aiming for it to remain at the heart of the community, he’s continued to support and collaborate with local and independent businesses, such as Sevenoaks based @curlyellie and @leo.thebaker - the latter of whom we have in-store with us Saturday mornings (9am-12:30pm), offering his fresh baked sourdough and pastries.

With over twenty years of experience in the holistic health sector, Harshid has brought a wealth of knowledge to the store and is committed to keeping everything customer focused, offering advice and support to those in need in a way that feels personal.

And as such, the store is always growing and changing, as it adapts to the needs of those who enter it.

Hence, our therapy room is now used by a diverse mix of practitioners offering things such as allergy testing, reflexology, life coaching, and even astrology. With an aim to increase our therapeutic offerings in the coming months.

In addition, we’re always adding to our vast product range, as and when we find new and exciting things, along with listening to our customer’s suggestions.

Together we work with some of the best, most ethical brands in natural health, so our customers can always be assured that the supplements and skincare we stock are chosen with efficacy and quality in mind.

And most importantly, every member of the store’s team is highly knowledgeable and passionate about health and wellbeing, with some having been a part of its history for over a decade.

Ultimately, it’s our ambition to keep Wendy’s legacy at Especially Health going for another thirty plus years.
